SHMELEV "THE SUN OF THE DEAD" The article presents the results of quantitative and qualitative lexical- semantic, derivational and part of speech analysis of color-namings in the novel- epic I. S. Shmelev "the sun of the dead". For example, colorama "black" shown individually-author's particular use of the colour term.
