На преддемонстрационном этапе учитель знакомит школьников с особенностями употребления времени Past Simple, глаголом “wanna” и про- изношением звука [æ], а также формулирует установку на первичный про- смотр с помощью заданий на выборочное извлечение запрашиваемой ин- формации: Задание 1. In the American variant of the English language Past Simple tense is used instead of Present Perfect even with words “ yet”, “already”, “just” , “before” especially in colloquial speech. So, it is common to say “She just came” instead of “She’s just come”. Find an example of using Past Simple instead Present Perfect in the video. ( Answer: What you said before…) Задание 2. Instead of the verb “want to” the Americans use a contracted form “wanna” without “to” , for example, I wanna go there . Watch the video and find a sentence with the verb “wanna” , note it down. ( Answer: “I wanna tell you something”.) Задание 3. In American English sound [æ] is used instead of [ ɑ :], for instance in words “dance” [dæns], “can’t” [kænt], “after” [ ˈ æft ə r], “example” [ ɪɡˈ zæmp( ə )l], while the British say [d ɑː ns], [k ɑː nt], [ ˈɑː ft ə ], [ ɪɡˈ z ɑː mp( ə )l]. During watching find an example of pronouncing [ ɑ :] sound instead of [æ]. ( Answer: Ask [æsk].)
