In American English “ gonna do smth” is used to denote Future Simple tense, which is a colloquial phrase for British “ be going to do smth” . Do you know what Julliard is? Julliard is one of the world's leading dance, drama and music schools, it is located at Lincoln Center in New York City. The American variant of the English language has many peculiarities. One of the phonetic features is pronouncing sound [u ː ] instead of [ju ː ]. This process is called “yod-dropping” , for instance, they say “news” [nu ː z] and “student” [ ˈ stu ː d( ə )nt], while the British say [nju ː z] and [ ˈ stju ː d( ə )nt]. Задание 1.
