В статье представлен анализ второй авторской книги Саши Черного для детей «Живая азбука» (1914). В центре внимания особенности поэтики, принципы организации, иллюстраций первых изданий и отклики современников. Книга С. Черного продолжает традицию азбук и букварей для обучения и семейного чтения, ведущих свое начало в России от букваря Кариона Истомина. Как автор поэт серьезно подходит к художественному оформлению своих произведений, заботясь о естественной связи текста и рисунка, стилистическом и содержательном единстве книги. «Живая азбука» представляет собой единый сюжет, который создается благодаря вступлению и концовке. Ее можно назвать маленькой детской энциклопедией, предлагающей знания об окружающем мире, наблюдения над природой, миром животных, птиц, растений и людей. Негативно встреченная при первом издании, она получила положительные отзывы и высокую оценку в поздних рецензиях при переиздании, когда поэт находился в эмиграции. Ключевые слова: Саша Черный, В.Д. The article presents an analysis of Sasha Cherny's second children's book, "The Living Alphabet" (1914). It focuses on the poetic features, the principles of organisation, the illustrations of the first editions and the reactions of contemporaries. S. Cherny's book continues the tradition of ABC books and alphabets for school and family reading, which originated from Karion Istomin's primer. As an author, the poet takes a serious approach to the artistic design of his works, taking care of the natural connection of text and drawing, the stylistic and meaningful unity of the book. "The Living Alphabet" is a single plot, created thanks to the introduction and the conclusion. It can be described as a small encyclopaedia for children, offering knowledge about the world around them, observations of nature, the world of animals, birds, plants and people. It had a negative reception at the time of its first publication, but later, during the poet's exile, the book was highly praised by critics. Keywords: Sasha Cherny, V.D.
