44 1. Слабая исследованность межрегиональных связей археологического наследия Киликии с наследием прочих провинций Византии в IV–VII вв.; 2. Необходимость проведения большего числа региональных, сравни- тельно-вариативных исследований и составления типологии изучаемых памят- ников по различным критериям (в первую очередь, по периодизации); 3. Необходимость более активного проведения междисциплинарных иссле- дований экономических и социокультурных процессов данного периода, сопря- жённых с комплексным анализом всего спектра исторических источников. 4. Потребность в обобщении уже доступных памятников, выражающаяся, с одной стороны, в полномасштабной систематизации их и сведений о них, а с другой – в постоянном их взаимном соотнесении и в необходимой переоценке хронологических, содержательных или иных критериев их периодизации.
